I just wanted to send out a quick thank you to everyone for all the thoughtful gifts, cards, and students you sent my way today! Valentines Day is always a hectic one in a classroom - though it was a nice way to head into the long weekend!
To those teachers out there - I hope I have a chance to say hello during convention! For the non-teachers, convention is a wonderful time to reflect, catch up with colleagues, and see what is "new" in the field. I am most looking forward to hearing David Suzuki speak tomorrow, along with a session on Learning Disabilities/ADHD/Executive Functioning, and a session on the computer programming app, Scratch.
I hope everyone has a happy and restful long weekend! School resumes on Tuesday, Feb. 20th.
