T.W.A.S. - April 16-19

In Math, we have begun looking at measurement.  We explored the school looking for objects greater than 1 meter in length.  First we brainstormed, then we made an estimate using a referent.
1 cm = 10 mm
1 dm = 10 cm
1 m = 100 cm
1000 m = 1 km
Also in math this week we finished looking at fractions.  I am bringing home an assessment and an activity in my Friday Journal.

In gym we are playing badminton.  Today we even got to play outside.

During Art, we continued a different one-point perspective drawing that included horizon lines and vanishing points.

Reminders:
- There is no school tomorrow (Friday)
- Jump Rope for Heart envelopes are due next week
- Double check that the Willy Wonka letter came home this week
